How this works
How winners are chosen
One world ranking
There is a single roll of honour, drawn from every learner across every partner school. A place on this page is won against the whole of Thambaa, not against one classroom.
Level by level
Students are only ever compared with others at the same level. A Level 2 learner is never measured against a Level 8 learner.
A note on children's names
We publish a student's first name, school and rank — and nothing else. No score, no age, no class or section, no photograph. Teachers and schools are named in full, since they are being recognised professionally. We do this deliberately: a young child's full name published alongside the school they attend creates a permanent, searchable record, and celebration should never cost a child their privacy. If your school would like an entry removed, write to academy@karky.in and we will act on it quickly.
